Ashley Milanese

Ashley Milanese is a Madison native and in her 4th year as an Orchestra teacher in the Madison Metropolitan School District. Ashley is a product of public education and started playing the violin in the 4th grade as a part of her school’s Strings program. She holds a BA in Violin Performance and Instrumental Music Education from Edgewood College (now University). When she’s not teaching the ~Future String Musicians of the Greater Madison Area~, she is directing her middle school’s musical productions, leading vocal rehearsals, and stepping out occasionally to play in local pit orchestras. Ashley’s love for music is not limited to the violin; she is a proud slightly-above-amateur guitarist and pianist as well, and loves to compose her own arrangements of popular songs for her students to play. Although she spends most of her free time lately playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Ashley’s all-time favorite video game is Kirby & the Amazing Mirror for Gameboy Advance.
