Simon Teckam

Simon Teckam is a violinist based in Madison, WI. He is a third year undergraduate at University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing his Bachelor of Music in violin performance, studying under Eugene Purdue.

He is currently a member of the UW Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Oriol Sans. As well, he is a member of the Harper quartet, studying under Suzanne Beia, which has performed for public events such as the Magnum Opus Ballet company. He is also an intern at Audio for the Arts, a recording and audio production company based in Madison.

Outside of school, Simon spends time hanging out with his leopard gecko Frodo, playing the guitar, or playing video games. His all time favorites include Minecraft, Legend of Zelda, Stardew Valley, and Civilization VI.
