Tina Thompson

Tina Westphal Thompson is a Madison based music educator and performer. Her musical road has taken her many places she never expected, from performing on large stages in Japan and Taiwan to playing fiddle for Wisconsin barn weddings…and to playing the individual entrance music for the world championship dairy cows. She currently performs with the Yahara String Quartet, Annie and the Oakies bluegrass band, and provides music for musical story time at the library. Tina holds a B.A. in Music performance, a Masters and Doctoral Work in Curriculum and Instruction, all from UW-Madison. She teaches violin and viola lessons from her Madison studio.
